pump update

Well....got the rebuild kit from IH. Took the pump to them and they looked at it. They thought a new o-ring seal will work on the shaft as the wear was not too bad. They said to smooth it out a bit with emory cloth. Got it back together and so far so good. The sleeve on the shaft fix was not to their liking and said the clearence is too tight between the shaft and the hole it goes in and machining is very costly??? Their words. Now...the only replacement pump they show is around $600....YIKES!!! I am sure some where there are cheaper ways if the pump fails again. I'm not using it much, so I hope it holds.
