Yes it does have an adjusting T-handle on the bottom but there is no heat shield that I can see. The tractor did have a diverting device on top the exhaust manifold with a pipe running to the right side which was crimped at the end.The tractor starts first go but stops as soon as it gets warm so I have started with the carby !
