They haven't made a trip lift anything since the late '40s... If you've got the live hydraulics, why not use them? You must have a Super H and/or a Super M, or tractors of that vintage if you have live hydraulics but no outlets. Those have 1-way hydraulics on them that you could use to lift the drill, then let gravity drop the drill.
