This advice came right from an IH mechanic. He said to drain out what you have in there, fill it with kerosene and take it for a drive. Drain that out and then fill with the proper fluid. He added that you should never do this with an engine, but it works great for the rear end. I think you will be surprised at what comes out with the kerosene. Yes, I have tried it and it works good.
