The correct way to fix the problem would be to pull the head, pistons and sleeves. Then you can remove the old seals. To go to all this work you may as well install a new sleeve & piston kit. New seals will come with the kit. That area in the block needs to be clean thoroughly where these sleeves are installed. There's usually rust scale and dirt in that area. This needs to done whether you go with a new kit or just install new seals. Hal
