Dave: I don't have a photo, but most Farmalls of that era had a hinged sleeve or tube under and at back of seat. The adjusting lever of the top link would slide inside the hinged tube and there was a hole in both for installing one of those 1/8" hairpins. Some of the older 06 and 56 series tractors had a slip link hinged in same place. It hooked to that ball on the end of top link adjusting lever. My 656 had the slip link, while 1066 had the hinged tube. Both worked well, I think I actually prefered the slip link. I may be a bit biased here as I alway liked 656 better than the 1066.
