Chuck: As I understand it, you are making your own 3 point adapter using fast hitch prongs off and old plow. Am I correct in assuming you trying to establish distance to holes for mounting the 3 point implement. I had two factory sets of these for Farmalls 300 and 560 and the holes for mounting 3 point equipment were about 10" from end of fast hitch socket. I expect you could make those shorter for a Utility type tractor, the configuration being such that operator platform is further forward. The problem with these hitches on older type row crop tractors was implement striking the seat. You don't need to worry about that with the Utility and there is some benefit to having the implement closer to tractor. Is there a possibility of making these protrude about 1' out of fast hitch socket. Then drill three holes in each for mounting the 3 point blade. Try it in each set of holes to see where you like it best. you can always shorten them later. I know if I were doing this, I would want that blade as close to rear of tractor as possible.
