well... I use CrossFire automotive paint from NAPA and apply 2 parts hardener as this is an industrial application. I don't see why there would be any problems matching paint on the rails with the previously painted block. Why would there be? Same paint. If you used different primer for the block as the rails and sheet metal, THEN there could be a difference. But after painting two farmalls, and a classic pickup, painting in stages is not a problem.
