A tractor with no number!!!!!

I restored my Grandfathers H 2 summers ago after he passed away. I spent many hours out in the barn working on her. Many people never understood why I would spend so much money on a common old H especialy since I was only 17 years old. I not have a very nice looking 1951 Farmall H. I only have one problem with it. The serial number. Years ago on the family farm the H had a loader on it and my father and grandfather broke the tractor in half when they majorly overloaded the loader tearing down an old barn. The tractor was then put in a fence line and left to rot. A couple years later my father decided to fix it and found an H in a junk yard and got the center transimission section to fix where the casing split. The fix was cheep enough for only $50 but we had to trade in the old casing for a core fee. Well as everyone knows the serial number plate is on that casing and well... the origional is gone! Is there anyway possible I can find out even a close serial number for her? I know for a fact it is a 1951 because I have the origional sale bill but it doesn't have the serial number on the bill. Thanks for any help you may be.
