From my experience with electronic ignition, I'll NEVER buy another set of points for any of my tractors. They are simple to install, and once they are installed, that's the last time you'll ever have to look at them again. I got tired of going out to the shed and trying to get an old tractor that had been sitting for several months to run. 9 times out of 10, it was a points problem. Now with elec. ign. in all of them, all I have to do is turn on the key and hit the button... Provided that the battery isn't dead, but that's a whole other story! bp856
