FYI, my dad built a scraper blade for his cub that pivoted on the drawbar and was lifted by the rear lift arm. Sounds similar to what you are doing. In the 2 years we used it to plow snow, we broke 2 rear axles, short side both times, and a final drive housing one of those times. So you might watch how much load you put on the rear of that cub. I have a front mounted blade on my cub and have plowed snow without a problem.
