Rich Running Cub!!!

I have a 1952 Cub I am restoring. I have completely rebuilt the engine. My problem is that it runs rich. I have put a kit in the carburetor. I have checked all passages and found them clear. When the tractor runs it puffs black smoke and the plugs become black and fowled in less than two hours. Any suggestions?
