The pump takes its supply from the the sump inside the Liftall housing so no bleeding or priming is required for the pump. However, you will get erratic (jumpy) operation for a few cycles of the cylinder until the air is mostly gone. It is safer for the equipment if you can cycle your new 3-point without a heavy load on it at first.
