Yep, but if you look between the liftarms, on the rock shaft, there is a third mounting location. Our 460 utility had a similar set up. It alowed the 2pt to be used like a three pt. All you needed to do was remove the drawbar, insert the arm extensions into the tubes, and then attach a third mounting plate on top of the rockshaft, and you had a three point. It took 5 minutes to convert, and we removed it from our 460 when we sold it and use the same exact kit on our 806. It works like a charm. So he could just install a 2pt and then get a kit to make it a 3pt, although it would be a LOT cheaper to just find a tractor with one or the other.
