If your tractor has indentations in the rear axle castings, it is likely that a Saginaw will fit, but you will also need the brackets that clamp to the axles. Saginaw fits anything from a C to a 560, but I am not sure the 340 has the indentations, as fast hitch attached mainly to the differential housing. Measure the space between the indentations and call Saginaw and ask. The "no room for a cylinder" is immaterial since the cylinder(s) are mounted on the 3-point itself.
