Are the plug wires copper? You need to pull the
coil wire from the distributor cap and place within a 1/8 to 1/4" of a good ground. You can hold it with a pair of insulated pliers so it doesn't bite you. Then have someone to attempt
an engine start and watch the fire from that coil wire. Should be nice and blue. Is this a -
negative grounded battery? If it is, the negative

PS: When you replace the plug wires did you replace one at a time? Your plug wires should be installed like this on the cap if rotor turns CW.
