Reminds me of when I was showing off my newly-purchased Cub to a friend. I stood beside it, hit the starter and trapped my foot under the raised Woods mower which dropped immediately under the downward hydraulic unit pressure (I had monkeyed with the touch control lever while it was not running). Unfortunately, the tractor did not start and I could not raise the mower, so my foot was stuck in excruciating pain! I screamed at my buddy to help me lift the mower off my foot. Fortunately, the Cub being relatively light, and some adreneline flowing from us both, we freed my foot with no lasting damage. Yeah, I still stand beside my tractor from time to time to crank it, like an idiot, but I NEVER put my foot under the mower anymore.
