Drove my tractor 8 miles to a friends. Got there, tranny locked up, was gunna be a long walk home...........
Turns out the pin that holds the shifter in place had wore so bad it allowed the shiter to engage 2 gears at once. Pulled the pin, realigned the shifter rails, installed a bolt instead of the pin, drove it home.
