Your battery is not being recharged when engine is running and it has finally run down on you!

If the charging system is working, the ammeter hand will indicate +10 to +15 amps of charge when the engine is running at 1/3 throttle or faster. If the ammeter indication is �0� or is continuously to the left of �0�, it tells you the battery is not being charged or is being discharged respectively.

Possible causes are many: loose belt, bad regulator, bad generator, incorrect or broken wiring, etc. Punch below for a troubleshooting chart that can help identify exactly where the problem is.
