I'm He. LPS is a brand name of several products. I have used many of them and found no complaints. The corrosion inhibitor product is a spray can packaged liquid which goes on rather wet then dries to a very thin coating. the coating repells water and other chemicals, but is easily burned off with running the engine. As I said ive used it on several engines including one that was not run or turned for 10 years. I also use it on firearms for long term storage, inside and out (except on the wood). one could fire the gun through the film, but it is best to use one swab of hoppies #9 to clean the bore. LPS is usually found at autoparts stores, NAPA has had it as well as many others. Hardware stores also carry it especially those serving a broad customer base not just suburbanites. Good luck, my Email is open. JimN
