Brings back memories of hauling in with the M in Iowa around the middle to end of Oct. with 6 layers of clothes and a wool scarf that only left the eyes uncovered. Kelly Ryan elevator going up into 4 high picket outside cribs. Two steel flare boxes that would tip over in a hurry if you didn't watch what you were doing. Dad says "I ain't never seen corn like this. Must be making 125 bu. to the acre". When in fact just a few years later we were trying to push the 'ol 203 with 2 row head through 150 bu corn. Open station, 24 degrees and we thought we were really big time now. Wow this just sent me back 40+ years and it feels Just fine thank you very much! Need those pictures to get the real fix though.
