The engine looks all the world as that in a Super A and C, except for the head. It has the same water pump as the supers. I was famililar with the U-2 being a C-113 engine, and I knew that there was problably a C-123 as a power unit, but I never heard of a 135. Do you know what the 135 engine was used in? Also Jim, you are right about the starter in the power unit, there is a cutout in the block for the starter that is in it now. I was hoping that there was some place on the net to check serial numbers to find out for sure what it is. Any thoughts? Im going to call the Case/IH dealer to see if they have any clue. Thank you for your time. Steve T
