I have a '67. It's 12 Volt with a generator and regulator.

I also have an original Cub manual dated 1973. The manual goes to great lengths to describe both 6V and 12V systems, so I'd expect that one or the other was still an option at that point.

Oddly enough, the manual also describes both magneto and battery ignition systems.
