I've never had any experience with the hydrostatic
drive on these cotton pickers, but I have a garden tractor with the hydrostatic drive and it has given excellent service and I've used it very
hard when plowing ground. I've used it for mowing and plowing snow too. I bought it new in 1971 and I have changed the oil in the hydrostatic drive and filter. This oil is used for the hydraulic lift too. Hal
