Allan. I was looking at a Hydro 70 here at the local yard on consignment from a potato farmer. Had been on the digger most of its life and the hydro to the tune of 4700 dollars was redone just recently, had a junk cab on it but otherwise pretty good ol tractor. I really couldn't bring myself to give 7000 for it so it sold to a local farmer who was gonna use it for haying and feeding dry stock cows. Well here two months later it showed up at the local consignment sale on Sat and went through and brought 5000. I know the guy who bought it and will use it mostly for cutting and baling hay and should do that just great. I would think with the loader about 6500-6800 should buy it if there is some waranty on the hydro for 12 months or so. Maybe prices are higher there than here but can't imagine that tractor in demand in any big farm operations for tillage these days. This was a diesel and the gas should be 1000-1500 less I would think. Migraine
