Since his serial number plate is missing, he can also do the same thing, but instead look at the engine serial number, which is on the right side of the engine when sitting on the seat. It will be stamped into the engine block and will look like: FBKM xxxxx X1 if the tractor came with gasoline. the small x's are approximately the same as your tractor's serial no., so you can tell approx. what year it is. Hope this helped.
