FYI- 826 Fuel Sender - Found Compatible Aftermarke

FYI! While diagnosing an inop fuel gauge on my 826D, I inadvertantly found an aftermarket fuel sending unit that will work. It's AutoMeter's (do a Google on Autometer gauges) part number 3262. It has the exact same mounting holes as the orignal and the same 33-240 ohm range. It's a univerasal setup so you can adjust the arm to be exactly like the IH unit. Should be a bolt-in. I don't know if the Autometer is cheaper or more expensive than an original IH part (if available from IH still). I had it leftover from a project vehicle and used it for tests. It's too bad that it's my gauge that's bad, though.
