I'd go with slappy's recommendation - 6 quarts - the operator's manual for the H and the service manual for the lift-all says to use the same viscosity oil as the oil you use in your engine. The operator's manual says above +80F, 30W; +80F - +32F, 20W; below +32F, 10W. Having said all that, if the implements are to be used with other tractors, I'd use hydraulic oil. If your dipstick is missing, as mine was and as is to be found with many Hs, you can make one up from a rod or a heavy wire. I'd use the level after draining and filling with 5 quarts as your 'minimum' mark and 6 quarts as your 'full' mark.
