Best way to do it is get it at TDC and note where the timing marks are on the crank. Also pull the dist cap and note/mark where its at. Then pull it and when you put it back togeather make sure all is where it was before you took it apart. Not hard to do unless you turn the engine over. Also pull a battery cable so its less likly to happen
