504 not big enough? I figure a 504 ci 4 banger would be 4.78 X 7. The M block is short physically front and back, limited by bore spacing. The camshaft has to be notched, moved or both to get much longer than a 7" stroke in. How come IH people get to make all the modifications and still be Div 4 legal?
