Farmall H Throttle shaft carb. bushing?

I want to thank everyone that helped me with this so far. I pulled the old bushing and installed the new bushing. I want to now ream it to the proper spec. I didn't get my new throttle shaft yet (I won't ream it until I get it) but did measure some aftermarket ones with a mike(Pretty new) and the shaft OD's are .248". My reamer size is .250". Someone said .001" clearence, so should I get a .249" reamer while I am waiting for my new IH Throttle shaft to arive or is .002" clearence ok? I only want to do this once. Thanks!!
