My two that get used in winter run 0W30 arctic diesel oil, and have block heaters, battery blankets and hyd sump heaters. It isn't at all uncommon to see -45� here. They'll start in any weather if they're plugged in for a couple hours. If they weren't so expensive I'd have fuel fired coolant heaters on them, a la Wabasto. Lots of semis use them up here. #1 diesel AND additive so the fuel doesn't gel.
