if its the same problem i had take off the injector lines then try tuning the pump after you get it set reatach the lines and bleed it
the other thing you may want to check is once you move it to line up the marks tighten it down then spin the motor over a few times then recheck mine was pritty sloppy so it took a few trys
oh also you may have noticed but the pointer is on the opisit side that the book says well at least mine is
