Farmall A serial ??

Looks like LAA 17366 on a picture of the tag. The guy pulled the tag, took a picture and put the tag away for safe keeping. Now he can't remember where he put it. sounds about right! Any ideas on what the LAA means? Any other place on the body to verify the year? Thanks in advance
