you need to make sure your gauge izz read'n corect. A $2 water pressure gauge and the hose off yer hand grease gun and maybe a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter will werk. I would replace the gauge with a new one first if I had no way to manualy check my oil pressure. I had the same problem you have and replaced the gauge thats all it needed, Replaced it with a ford 8N gauge. You kin git'em cheap
