Good comments. Most definitely avoid fuel with methanol, or MTBE, blended in. There is something about that stuff that creates an invisible spark plug fouling problem. I've been "snake bit" many times in automotive tune up work by the damn stuff. A flip side of the alcohol gas nightmare is that ethanol is good stuff, harms nothing, and gradually takes out moisture. The downside of both types of alcohol blends is that they allow the fuel people to pass off low grade gas as good stuff. Look at tail pipe colors as you walk thru a car park. Anymore, every damn one of 'em looks like a diesel! Ethanol- OK! Methanol- no way!
