I`ve had a farmall "C" since 1971. I have not paid attention to the casting numbers or the serial number till now. The casting numbers are 8-24-t thru 12-22-t. The serial # is 72191. 1951 starts at 71880. The letter "T" is 1950. Did they use left over parts in 1951 from 1950 for the first few made,or did someone change the seat base with the serial number plate off another tractor? If serial number is correct with tractor it would be the 311th made in 1951 correct??
