Is there a certain variety of sunflower seeds that you plant? I planted a row of them and the heads were so heavy a lot fell over. The birds
started on the seeds too. Does that happen when you have a field full of sunflowers? I ran the stalks through a shredder along with the sweet corn stalks and spread it over the garden. Hal
