I certainly can believe your H uses less fuel than your riding mower. I have a new Simplicity mower with B$S engine. That thing uses a lot of gas. For years I used an IH 140 with a belly mower and for sure that used less gas than the Simplicity and mowed a wider swath. I'd trade it for another 140, but that is really too big for my current lawn mowing situation
