I have heard about replacement bands being just a tad longer than the I-H originals and causing adjusting problems. Don't forget the adjustments in the brake clevis and the set screw on the bottom of the brake pan ,which has to be set to keep the bottom of the band in position to the pan. I have taken worn pins that hold the bands and built them with brazing , then ground them smooth and they worked fine, you can get new pins as well. I guess I've been lucky, I got all the brake components off of an H that came into Ontario Used Tractor Parts, the bands were like new, so I have extra pans, clevis' bands and pins as well as activating arms and that will keep my two H's going. I cleaned everything up and painted the components, ready to be used...Mike in Exeter Ontario
