Do you have a digital camera? Could you take a picture of it so that it would make it easier for us to understand what you have? I myself have never seen the inside of an 06 rear end, so I would have to consult my service manual before even attempting to answer your question. From memory though, I would have to agree with tractor vet, I don't recall there being two ports on the picture in my manual.
