The parts book shows a change in the drum at sn 70827, and a change in the brake band at sn 35129. Any idea what the changes were ?

The only reference that I see for the size is that the band is 2 inches wide and 9 inches in diameter. Is there a spec or wear limit for the drum diameter ?
