The seat shown in Nathan's post was an after market to relace the curved pipe with the tool compartment. We had a 47 M that came new with a Monroe seat, similar to Nathan's picture, except the shock was shorter and ahead of the big coil spring. My dad also had a H that he bought used that had the same type of Monroe seat. The Monroe seat may have been an option, but it came from IHC with the tractor.
