Spent a wonderful labor day with the Little Cowman. Started off the morning moving some bales in for winter feed, after a while I began to wonder what I was riding along for and went off to rake some hay while Hadley finished up the bales by himself. then I helped him take the loader off and I rode on the fender while he baled 20 acres of 4th cutting alfalfa. Don't know for sure what his cycle time was but most of the time he had the tractor in motion before the tailgate was quite shut and was running about 6mph. with 14 ft swaths raked double it didn't take long. Here he is unloading his bales. Yes, I might be proud of this kid.
