Two ranges in 1-4, no effect on fifth. If it has a combine or industrial engine, there is no internal increase in HP. I don't know about the combine engine, but the M/6 series service manual says there was an attachment to govern the U6 power unit at 1800 rpm as opposed to the M's 1450 (1500 was standard on power units). However, there was also an attachment to govern the U6 at 1200 rpm.
