Scott: Since I was in here last evening, I will join in again. Your distributor drive is obviously good. Coil and or condensor can do exactly that, quit when hot, next morning it will run fine. Don't rule out that ampmeter gauge just yet either. I've had to replace two of those my lifetime. One quit and never started until I replaced it. The other one would work sometimes, and the sometimes one was in my 1963 Farmall 140. I can say the sometimes was not related to tractor being hot or cold. It was completely random. I still say go to coil first, we old hands that have had tractors for 45+ years have experienced this a few more times than once.
