Just to clarify, ALL of the brass parts were removed from the bottom of my carb for the successful cleaning. The jet at the very bottom trapped gunk but allowed sprays to flow through. I removed the jet and half dug, half carb cleaner sprayed out the very bottom hidden passage. If you completely disassembled the bottom before your soak and squirt, you might have it cleaned, but if the jets were still in place it is worth trying to remove them. Worked for me and my buddy anyway (he had more like a dozen total rebuilds, including an inspection at an IH dealer!) Good luck.
