Hi Nat ,
I'm pretty confident that I wired it correctly ,I was very careful . This is a distributor ignition. I just went out and fiddled with it again...The switch doesn't feel like it is clicking in to the off position, like it used to do.
I gave the button a sharp slap in and the motor shut down ... pulled the switch out and she started right up ...pushed it in and it kept running .....gave it the slap again and it shut down
maybe the switch is going bad ?
