Thanks for your help. I have went through 2 new resistors and when I first try it it starts right up good as a new tractor but 5 seconds later it starts sputtering and the resistor is starting to smoke then it quits. Some steers had messed around it some over the weekend but they hadn"t broken any if the wires just pushed on them but when I started through the field it just died and this is what I"ve been into ever since. It is aggravating. Thanks again for your help.
