Steve, You might also check the amount of backlash between the steering shaft worm and the worm wheel sector. Sometimes you can eliminate some steering play by removing the large hexnut on the fromt of the steering box and try some shim washers that are large enough to only contact the outer race of the bearing on the steering shaft and reinstall the hex nut and see how much play you get rid of. Also as Bob stated, make sure the arm on the bottom of the box is tight and no slop. scotty
